The humanitarian crisis in Europe has never stopped. Since the late 2000s, the Mediterranean front line has seen hundreds of thousands of people on the move seeking shelter. As governments throughout the continent conspire to perpetually displace people, to enforce pushbacks, humanitarian aid workers join effort in remedying the physical, mental, and psychological damage dealt.
And so, in 2025, Humanity Pact was born. A Greek-Canadian grassroots non-governmental organization that aims to unite those impacted by injustice and modern colonization via education, distribution, and referrals. Be it may that a hundred years is what a change needs to take place. Like all else, however, it blooms from an idea. And it starts with us.
